Bye Arctic

We said Goodbye to the Arctic (that's the marker for the Arctic circle on the island) in Hurtigruten-style with a spoonful of cod-liver oil and some wine to mask the taste at 9am in the morning. I'm not sure what the ceremony was all about, but Aurora enjoyed it. Might be worth requesting Byron's recall?

It's simple enough. The Arctic is so cold and vast that it consumes random letters - as in the post's title. Somewhere in the distant past, it was all about farewelling the 'cold livers', those who live in the coldest part of the land, but the L just dropped out. QED.
